Spot isn't the best but it seems its day locals are kind of protective but as long as you aren't being a jerk then you will be fine. Basically on a swell it's a left, mostly closeouts. But if you pick the right wave it can be fun. It's a fun chop break which then breaks both ways.

A LOT OF KOOKS BUT IF U SURF GOOD DONT SWEAT SHIT.THE PEOPLE THERE ARE COOL,DONT KNOW IF ITS THE SAME CROWD FROM WHEN I LIVED IN S.FLA.MOST OF THEM MOVED WHERE THERES WAVES BUT I REMEMBER SOME GOOD SWELL FITTING IN THERE BARRELS THERE YOU COULD FIT A MINIVAN IN NOT COMMON BUT DOES HAPPEN.

oh, and I've seen those 2nd street stickers on boards at spots well north of pompano; those guys do not respect the locals at the spots they travel to; so, if you actually decide to travel to surf this spot, give 'em hell.

dont go to second street thinking your good. the locals ranging from 16 to 60 years old will not put up with you shit. you will leave the beach. give them respect and you'll get respect..
