Litchfield Beach is located about a three miles south of Brookgreen Gardens and Huntington Beach st park. It is located across from a shopping center on highway 17. Litchfield is a small classic regular beach break with a small sandbar about 200 feet out. Its fun for most beginers and on windy days will produce small hollow tubes for intermidiates.
I own a beach house in Litchfield and I can say that early mornings and late days are usually pretty good on windy days. The spot is very enjoyable during the summer. The atmosphere is very laid back, and easy going, not many people at Litchfield, there are tons at Garden City which can get a little crowded during the summer
