I'll b in Myrtle 10/5/07???? Help - I'm going to Myrtle beach in early October for my cousin's bachelor party. I already know I'm going to be disappointed, or am I. I guess if it breaks it does so during the fall and cane season. If anyone has any tips or local knowledge , I would appreciate it greatly . Also , how far is southern North Carolina from Myrtle beach and are there any methods of transportation there? Thanks

SC SURF - i have surfed fl most of my life and just moved to Hilton Head Island, Sc. As far as I can tell there is no surf in sc comparable to Ponce Inlet. You need to head to outer banks, Nc for any real surf but it is also real cold in the winter and very few year round jobs.

Need some help - Getting ready to graduate from college here in 3 weeks and would like to move to a nice surf spot along the Carolina coast. I'm originally from Fla. and grew up surfing Ponce inlet, The Jetty's and Tables down there, but I've been lanlocked in Ohio for 3 years and need an escape!! Any help is much appreciated

My name is Tim and I have just moved to the States from Australia. Was wondering what places are good to surf if any in South Carolina? Or even anywhere along that coastline for that matter. Im desperate to hit the surf even if its small and shit. I just want to get wet

trying to understand - ive been surfing since i can remember and the local spots here in south carolina arent the best i grew up in puerto rico were a wave was 10 to 20 feet now there just 1 to 2 what is it that everybody sees around here? not trying to be offensive but i think if your gonna brag about wves do it were there are waves not ripples.

Where should i, or can i, rent a board and get lessons? And whats a good beach to go to for beginners, And anything else i should know?
