Additional Surfing Infos
LOOK FOR A COLLECTION OF CARS PARKED ON THE WEEKENDS THAT'S WHERE THE WAVES ARE BEST, IF IT'S TOO CROWDED THERE, DRIVE AROUND AND CHECK SOME RANDOM NEARBY SPOTS, THEY MAY BE JUST AS GOOD AND NON-CROWDED. BRING LOTS OF RUBBER FOR THE WINTER AND PLENTY OF SUNSCREEN AND FLIPFLOPS, NOT TO MENTION BUG REPELLANT IN THE SUMMER. BE READY ONCE A STORM LETS UP IT WILL GET BIG AND MEAN WITH LOTS OF TUBES AND IT CAN BREAK OUT KIND OF FAR. CURRENTS DO GET STRONG HERE SO ALWAYS KEEP AN EYE ON THE SHORE TO YOUR POSITION, LOOK FOR AN OLD PIECE OF WOOD AND JAMB IT IN THE SAND TO USE AS A MARKER SO YOU DON'T LOSE WHERE YOUR CAR IS PARKED. DO NOT DROP IN ON OTHERS BECAUSE THE OTHERS MAY HAVE MANY FRIENDS NEARBY. THE WAVES ARE BEST WHEN THE TIDE IS CHANGING AND IT MAKES THE WAVES BREAK IN VERY SHALLOW WATER. KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR OCEAN LIFE FROM STINGRAYS TO WHALES, SHARKS, BLUEFISH, DOLPHIN AND SOME OTHER STRANGE CURIOUS CREATURES CHECKING YOU OUT. BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU PARK NOT TO GET STUCK IN THE SAND LOOK FOR FLAT AREAS WITH A LITTLE GRASS STILL SHOWING.
  Overview
Atmosphere WHEN THE WAVES ARE FIRING EVERYONE WILL BE NICE AND USUALLY CHEER YOU ON IF YOU CATCH A GOOD WAVE.
WAVES CAN BE VERY CONSISTANT AND YOU MAY NEED GOOD DUCK-DIVING SKILLS. BEST TO LOOK FOR OPEN AREAS THAT ARE NOT BREAKING AS WELL THEN PADDLE OVER TO THE GOOD SPOTS. DON'T BE AFRAID TO PULL-IN THE TUBE THE WAVES DO NOT CLOSE OUT THAT MUCH.
YOU MAY NEED A FASTER BOARD WITH A LITTLE LONGER NOSE. THE WAVES ARE BEST WITH A 5FT+ SWELL. IF IT IS NOT BREAKING DURING A CERTAIN TIDE. CHECK FURTHER USUALLY AROUND THE S-TURN. THEN COME BACK AROUND THE NEXT TIDE. AND ALWAYS HAVE A CAMERA READY OR ELSE NO ONE WILL BELEIVE YOUR SESSION AND THINK YOUR EXAGERATING.
General IT'S ALWAYS MY FAVORITE SPOT TO CHECK AS THE IS THE BOILER ITSELF TO GIVE YOU WAVE MEASUREMENT AND WHEN YOUR TIRED OF A LONG DRIVE YOU CAN GO DUNE JUMPING TO WAKE YOU UP A LITTLE. PLUS IT IS THE BEST INDICATOR OF WHAT THE SWELL IS DOING. IF YOU KNOW THE PLACE...
