 Additional Information

The most consistent spot in north Fl. Holds large swells while other spots are closing out. Large jetty shields against Noreasters. You can't walk north to better break because of the US army.

Don't mean to bust your balls but when you said "you cant walk north to better break because of the US Army"?...i think the branch of service you are looking for is the Navy...they are quite different my friend

Atmosphere

When its good the left bowl is long and fast. It can get zoolou crowds when a big Noreaster is starting to subside , but then other spots start breaking.Show respect cause lots of rippers in the water.

- I went here after that weeklong storm last month. The waves still had some size but were nice and glassy. Just two other people out there. Best surfing I've had yet in Florida.

Don't let people scare you - Crowds are kinda big here but it can handle 200 people without a problem, Breaks best down by the jetty or right off the poles but theres waves to be had up and down the beach. I've surfed it on a few days where its been head high, Harder to get out then alot of places because its just wave after wave. Locals aren't really that local and nobody will really mess with you unless your asking for it.
