Park your car at the pier. This is a great spot to surf and gets pretty good now and then, and the crowds are much better than Rodanthe or Lighthouse

definately go somewhere else - This place is so damn fun, i surfed the breaks in town for a week last august and it was legit, definately some serious potential for epic days, chill place, nice weather, no crowds! keep it that way

dirty dicks - water = ball shrivlingwaves = depends on the swell at the time. Could be flat, or could be going off. Best time to get on it is hurricane season. But not when a hurricane isn't around (summer flat spells)
