2nd Street Access
Get on the Beach Road near mile marker 7. Look for where the Beach Road intersects 2nd Street. There is a public parking lot(although it has been closed because of erosion). Obviously, this is just north of 1st Street.
Walk to the end of the parking lot, where it drops three feet down right into the ocean. Erosion is absurd here and sometimes you can just jump right into the ocean

Additional Surfing Infos
-Park at the Second Street lot.
-Surf here only when it is big, otherwise just go l block to 1st Street.
-Great for longboarding
-Good for shortboarding when big
-Be careful getting on to the beach here, erosion is gnarly
  Overview
Atmosphere This spot is right by 1st Street. It deserves a worthy mention. When 1st Street is going off, so is 2nd Street. 1st Street gets crowded when it is big because it is popular, so I always surf 2nd Street.
-For the out of towners it is good because it is a very mellow spot.
-You get dirty looks at 1st Street, but hardly ever at 2nd.
General It is a good spot. A little worse than 1st Street, but better than Duck or Corolla.

This is a spot for those who want a good uncrowded wave right in KDH.
