love to learn
i live in ga and am looking for a great place either here or in fl to learn to surf. it has been at the top of my list of ultimate zen for years and now it is time.

labor day surfing?
Hey--i'm making a stop in Savannah over Labor Day weekend and glad to see the chances are good there will be surf ---any reccomendations on where to rent a board and where to find a spot that's not too overcrowded labor day weekend? Thanks!

goulds was hoppin....
my brother and i just had a great time at goulds jan.19th it was 2 feet when we put in and got 3 to 4 feet in about an hour and held for an hour or so before going back to norm of 1/2 feet..we've been hitting that spot for years now...when it's flat there we go to jax.there's still something to ride at the poles.
