Drive north on Ocean Shores blvd about 6-7 miles
you should see the jetty from the road. There will be a big hill to your left, park there. You can walk over the hill to get a view from above. Otherwiser follow the tourist around to the beach access. suit up, wax down, and be nice to the local brow's

Additional Surfing Infos
Bring your rip stick and some booties.

Long permanent wet cold beach except for summer time and even then sometimes.
Dead fire works everywhere, driftwood, tons of seals in the water, but really nice on those sunny warm days.
Pretty good on those good days. Best with offshore wind.
  Overview
Atmosphere Many a time I have pulled into ledgy little barrels. Here the view is awesome and it's a great place for a dawn patrol and a late afternoon session after the wind dies down, and the sun-sets ! It makes me feel like I'm in the islands.
General One of my favorite spots on the west coast.

To Question
No, the Jetty and DP are 2 different spots. You assume correctly.

The Jetty is located at the end of Ocean Shores, and marks the north end of Grays Harbor.

DP, as you already guessed, is inside the harbor...about 1/2 mile inside I guess...and breaks on a long spit of sand.

Jetty---better in Summer.
DP---look for big S or SW swells with N to NW winds, which blow offshore there.

You'll probably get skunked on either, unless you live here.

QUESTION
Is the N. Jetty the same place as Damon Point? It seems to me that N. Jetty is up further (ie N. side of the jetty on the ocean side) while Damon point is "in" the bay on the S side of the Jetty. Anyone ever surf Damon Point?
