it is a shore break but can get good if the tide is right, not many people there, on the right before the westhaven state park sign big weather tower there.
serious question
i noticed that at very low tide, some nice peeling waves break further out - has anyone ridden them and can they give any advice?
as far as what it used to be... isnt it the same closeout barrel right next to shore that will break your neck?

the cove
i heard that the jetty cut down on the amount of swell coming into the cove and that parts of the jetty broke flooding the cove with sand. does anyone know if this is true or not? i just want to know for closure.

Surfing at the cove
Me and my buddies go out there every weekend- the waves vary- on sunny days the water is nice but on a foggy day your jewelz will gone!
