according to sheriff's dept: if you are in the water, you are not trespassing / if you are walking on land, you are trespassing

think about this -> your driving, parking, changing clothes, music, chatter, etc is more of a disturbance to homedwellers than your being in the water

the local residents dont want to see you parked in front of their yard or in the water behing their house and certainly dont want to see you walking thru their yard

you can get to any spot with a boat and it is almost never dangerous to drive the boat - so if you have to go, spend the bucks for a boat and dont cause problems that will ruin it for everybody

Parking
Where can you park before the trek? Remember, the water itself isn't private property. So don't eff-ing farke with me out there.

Was it worth the effort?
I have surfed the area for seven years now and today was the first time I surfed Green Point. It is a pretty fun little wave with a lot of punch. Not a wave for everyone though. You better know what your doing because this place can drill you. It was only waist to shoulder high when I surfed it and I got rolled up into the rocks a few times. I think the place would be better if it were a head to a head and half in size but I have not seen that happen too often. As for the hike, not as bad as The Cape but still some what burly. I don't think I will be packing my longboard in. Was it worth the effort? I do not know, I just don't know. Talk to me after I recover from the hike and the surf and then the hike again.

shin high
Come on. I found this place and many others by looking on a map and going out a lot on a good secret but easy to figure out swell direction. That last pic sucks. Use your zoom a little more and make it look overhead.

anybody going to Kauai
I just moved back from kauai and going to start surfing Washington. I would love to know where the killer spots are. I can extage Secret info on kauai. There are some insane spots that are hush hush. I can tell you the best way to blend in. They will think you live there. I might even be able to find places to crash for you. If you are on a real budget I can tell you where you garented work 10 dollers in hour under the table ginger farming. You get a one way ticket and surf work and fly back.
