Stop posting secret spots please!!! This place was my little gem-away-from-gems until it got put up here. If you don't already know this place then do not come here. It is sacred.

Power Barrels! Holy crap this place pounds on a 5 ft swell! I got hammered, and had some of the hardest hold-downs of my life there this last weekend. But still, also got ahold of some stomach-in-yer-throat drop, turn, and point beachies and a few cover ups. This place is siiiiiiiiiiick!!!

any place can be dangerous to learn. my advice to you would be to get a lesson from someone who knows what their doing. there are some other spots in and around ocean shores that are good. always remember to look left and right when taking off on a wave.

new to ocean park My mom just bought a house in Ocean Park. I come here ever weekend. I've been interested in wanting to learn how to surf since I was a little kid. Now that I'm at the beach a lot I was thinking it could be a good time to finally start trying. I've heard that the Long Beach penninsula was very dangerous, the lady told me that you're not supposed to go out in water deeper than your ankles. I would really like to learn, and the beach is such a short walk from the house. Would Oregon beaches be safer? The lady I talked to said Oregon beaches are safer. Anyway, even if I have to start going to an Oregon beach I would still like to learn. Any advice for and extreemly clueless beginner would be appreciated.

local here you should be informed there are nasty rips around here. these are cold fickle shark infested waters. stay away. the best spots around here you need a gate card to get to.

Get over it You don't own the spots or the waves, guy. Washington was bound to be exposed at some point. Also, this place is a deathtrap, so don't worry about it being posted.

NO NO NO NO NO The beauty of being a Washington surfer is know that there is always a spot to be found. Unfortunately, people post them!!! Share your great days at Westport, Ocean Shores or LaPush. Post pictures of the Straits, but don't post spots every dick from Portland to Seattle is going to scramble to try on the next decent weekend.
