oregon111 the owner gave me a heap of crap for parking by his entrance / technically, he owns everything out of the water and the land down to low tide level / the wave does NOT peel around the point - it dies after a very short ride / its no better than crescent

Old classic waves and great rides only indeed sometimes break, but if you and your jetta like to bob amongst perfect knee high to overhead peelers...enjoy.

Old ladies and burners only... ... at Deep Creek. If you like bobbing in boat wake and exchanging stories in the water about how great your 2007 Jetta is, then this place is for you. Not that there's anything wrong with all that... its just that, um, you could well accomplish the same thing in Lake Washington minus the 5/3, the ferry, the gas, and so on. Just a thought.

community is great, except for the occasional yelling from the westport locals. there are sharks in every ocean, but i believe their has never been a shark attack in washington. ive heared they stay far off the coast where there is an abundance of food. i would be more worried about coming face to face with a territorial sea lion. there was a post on here a while back that said a guy was biten by a sea lion up at neah bay. sea lion get territorial during mating season.

turn off the turn outs, off of Hwy 112, are w/in the State's right of way, which is 4 ft. on either side of the highway. One can park in any of these spots as long as other roads are not impeaded. Remember there are no private beaches in Washington State, only private access.

PA, could you clarify what something for me? is parking in the "turn-outs" okay to do? if not, where is a good place to park?

Do it in a car Next time I guess I will choose to drive through your yard. Most areas here are pristine and without tracks, at least until others drive through, park and tred in the same place over and over again. With continuation of high levels of traffic, I guarantee you the land holders will also continue to shut access down and raise enforcement. Just have respect for here you go or soon you will not be able.
