I am so glad someone with some attitude is finally speaking up for WA surfers. I am so tired of the complaining that goes on here on this site. Notice that there has been no traffic lately? Gee, wonder if everyone got board or just got smarter? By the way, any one heard from Doc Phil lately? I do miss that guy, he is pretty funny. And as far as the girls in WA, I think they kick ass to tough out the extreme cold temps and currents here on the Oly Pen weather they are great surfers or just beginning. Surf on ladies. See ya in the line up.

I will say, yes, California breeds tons of great surfers, but don't use that as an excuse to rip on WA. I don't know if you understand, but you have to bust ass to get some decent waves up here. We go out in the snow if it's good, because it's there. We spend way more on wetsuits to stay warm in the colder water. The tides have a dramatic effect on the conditions, and they can turn on or off in minutes. Most people have to take a ferry or drive 3 hours to even get out. Shit, I'll surf ankle high if I have to, I'm not driving home without getting in the water. So, no dawn patrol or 5 minute strolls down to the beach for a lot of us; and consistant waves are not as plentiful.

And don't stereotype all the ladies here as bull dykes, because they could probably kick your ass, and leave you smelling like a fresh pine forest.

Cali may have some hot skanky girls, but none of them surf. While I was living in HB even, I think I saw 2-3 girls surfing from the south side of the pier all the way to Sunset Beach. Most of your chicks are pussies who won't get their hair wet... and I was hotter than all of them. Shame on you.

You California idiots are ruining it up here in the north west. Sure you guys are ripping surfers but the question is; can you log? We might not be the best surfers around, but at least we know how to use chainsaws and we know how to cut down trees unlike you pussies! And one more thing, don't be hating our large women, our hemp beanies and our Seppe beards, that's how we stay warm up here. Do all of us woodsmen a favor and jump in your rigs and head south.
