Easy Access - Can park at the Agate Beach Parking Lot next to the light after Ossie's Surf Shop or you can take a left at the light and then take the "next" left - you will see a diner on your left. You can park on the street. Then walk down either from the parking lot or the street on the paths and go to the rocks on the north side of the beach.
You can see this spot from the top of the hill after you make your turn. If it is a great day, you will see the alongshore waves going right to left. At mid to high tide, the rip along the rocks will take you right out to the break. On big days, the waves will be breaking to the left of the point about 100 to 200 yards south. What a great spot.

Ummm, hello... your directions and map are for the SOUTH side of Agate Beach, not the North. And furthermore, any Oregonian will tell you that Newport is on the central coast, not the North coast.
