Stay out of the locals some of them can be pretty mean with all the crowds

If you are just learning its a great place to start lots of first timers out that dont know what there doing so u can just mix in with them , For the more Adavnced Surf it gets really annoying alot of people cut you off and its exemterly crowd , but when the surfs pounding most of the rookies sit on the beach

Its pretty fun wave on a good day great place to learn the crowds thin out alot leaving only locals during the winter and thats when we get most of are swell the water is ball freezing cold but its a fun wave

big low went right off the coast night before
warm SW > WSW winds
25+ mph offshore winds, strong ground swell held up all morning and winds didnt kill swell as fast as usual due to more powerful swell

and dude dont be telling everyone that 5th is the spot that is nice when it breaks that is the only spot that there is only like 5 people max out when its throwing nice barrels. Dont say where spots or next year around summer when all the tourist start coming will going there. Use common sense dude

Overrated
VB is so overrated. The waves suck and it is full of spongers, kooks and high rise hotels. The only reason there good surfers is that the population is about 400,000 people, the most populated city in Virginia. How can there not be a few guys that rip out of 400,000 people? I hate Virginia beach and am never coming back in my life. Such a sell out place.
