This place is great and NOT illegal if precautions are used as to where you enter/exit the water. SUCH CRAP that those among us are using there F@#cking west coast localism to try and keep areas like this private. There will never be the jammed line-ups on the great lakes like so many are scared of. We need to continue the traditions and educate those who deisire to learn this wonderful sport. When does this place go off? - You must have to have one hell of a wind to get waves. How many people are actually in the water for this place to be a locals only spot? i would love to see pictures!!!

Just like ... - The Waimea of the Great Lakes for sure. If I had a nickel for every time I saw this place spitting out 2x barrels while the winds were screaming offshore, I could quit my job ...
