Additional Surfing Infos
Always check conditions before going. Best waves occur during, before, and after stormy weather. No lifeguards on site so surf with someone. Strong undertow at times. More people skimboard here then surf. Also, the water can be very cold so bring a wetsuit.
  Overview
Atmosphere South Haven is a small tourist town dotted with condos. Nice days attract moderate crowds of a few hundred. Barrels are rare to nil. There are some snack shops along the beach but the service is terrible and the food overpriced. Go into town if you want food or bring your own. Locals are pretty friendly but most of the people that go on holidays/sunny days are from out of town (as far away as Illinois).
General If you plan on going, don't expect the best of conditions. Stay for the nice atmosphere, sun, and sandy beaches. There's a public skatepark on South Beach (Other side of the pier) in case the surf is terrible/flat.

Looks like a good day in Nantcuket!
Sick! Must be triple over ankle of the Seagull! Looks just like Nantucket in the summer!
