Additional Information
one of the best places to surf in west michigan. the jetty is convient so you dont have to paddle out, just jump off. waves are really choppy and unorganized, unless you get a perfect west wind then it cleans up really nice and you can get clean lines to play with.
Atmosphere
If you are stuck in michigan and need to surf this is the best place. make sure to buy a full suit at least 3/2mm. lots of deaths off this jetty durning high surf in the fall and winter so be carefull.
General
this spot ranks about a 1 on a scale of 1 to 50. You can find really clean waves on the lake, you just have to be at the right beach with the right conditions.
