this spot was dubbed "doombringer" because of it's tendency to dump you right into the multiple sandbars....i know, kind of an exageration, but good surf non the less

less crowded than north avenue beach...surf is a little better, too....if you're not afraid of a little hypothermia, when january storms come tearin over the lake from michigan, i've seen twelve footers breakin out here....the loss of feelin is worth the epic winter surf
