Quite tricky...to get here you have to head towards Sconset from town, down Threemilestone Road and take the right down a road called Old Tom Nevers...follow it all the way down along side what I think is an Air field...then take the left down the dirt track and follow it all the way to the cliff..This takes about 10mins...Park, get out and jump in.
You can get some great pictures from the top of the (very small) cliff over looking the peaks...
Overview
Atmosphere
The atmosphere is pretty chilled...not a lot of people know about it, so there tends to be little crowding. It's a beautiful set-up and when it works it definately warrants the 'regional classic' rating. It needs a big swell to work though and you've got to time it right to get the low or outgoing mid-tide.
General
A really nice spot that can hold a decent swell. If the sand bars are in order, there are 2 distinct peaks with the outside left and right the choice direction. The shark warning is only a precaution...we're NOT talking SA, Oz or Florida style dangers..
Edit this page to correct or complete Madaquecham (Nantucket Island).
this spot description says this spot gets northwest swell. Is that possible?

ill probably never surf "your" wave
that wave looks good but probably doesnt break too often. stop freaking about "your" local wave. the ocean is for everyone not the privledged few who get to live at the beach. grow up or quit surfing. your negative energy makes you a barney, dont you understand that.

Nantucket is bad ass!!!
I have spent the past couple summers working in Nantucket, capitalizing off of stupid tourists. BUT the best part about this island is that it gets some major summer swell. Once the swell gets about head high, the tourists get scared and some mean swell becomes open territory and is awesome. When its small, longboarding is a blast, and when its big you get sweet barrels, and just enough time to get your footing before tucking in.
