Watch out for horseshoe crabs, if you dont know what they are i would not be surprised. It's the only place in the world that has them.It also is breading ground for sharks of all types and mosquitos.
The bottom does not become sand until the sandbar, before that it's thick black mud. For some reason when you exit the water your skin can't stop itching..it could be due to the sewer waste that drains out of the pipes into the water.
The locals don't have many teeth so they wont bite but the sharks might.
This is a fun longboard spot if the conditions are just right. They are best if a hurrican enters the bay after traveling off the Atlantic and has a steady east wind of 25 miles an hour

EEEEEEEwwwww gross - The Villas!!!!!!!!!!!! What r u on crack? Oh yeah , that's right . U R. Who the hell would want to surf there rather than the right coast . You stay in the Delaware Bay and ride a donkey and I'll stay on the east coast, you know, the one that faces an OCEAN. Batman wears a chicken suit and shits on babies if the Villas gets waves.
