This is the designated surf beach for Avalon during the summer. When Life Guards are on duty this is one of the only places to surf, during the off season and between 5pm and 10am, any place can be used. Just come on to the beach (make sure you have a beach tag) and start surfing.
Avalon is a relaxing, fun town. Most of the surfers are agreeable. Many are in their teens, mostly late teens and early twenties. The waves are best during August and the fall, because storm activity is higher.

Avalon is the only place I've surfed. I've spent almost every summer of my life here. I love the town. Although the waves aren't huge, there enough and can get larger.

Surfing here for years now. Great place, good people, decent surf. Great winter/spring this year. Caught it all winter and spring long, sometimes solo. Welcome to summer, let's keep it friendly.

Keep it gripe free
Been surfin here for about five years now, no problems , ever, get's decent surf and offers different peaks on both sides of the pier and a lil south of the pier. Everyone's cool here.

Hagz is cool
Whoever wrote the stuff about Hagz should grow up. If you ever surfed here for awhile, you would realize he is a nice guy. Because you don't surf here that often or just started thats why you said that crap!!
