camden - are u f ing kidding me u want us to surf in the river

By The rain puddle in my yard starts working @ five feet. , 25-06-2007

More Info - So you're saying it doesn't start working until 12 ft? I need to see this to believe it. If it's real , I want to go. Personally , if it weren't for shear curiosity , I would call you a tard for suggesting the friggin Delaware River has 12 ft waves. I'd sure like to see it though. Until then , no effin way!!!

Locals are beyond dangerous - Camden is regularly voted one of the most dangerous cities in the US. While in the area, check out the lefts on the north shore of Petty's Island. The current can be way deceiving so be careful and be smart. You can paddle out behind the abandoned Acme on River Road in neighboring Pennsauken and try to surf as many spots as you can as the current sweeps you down towards Carney's Point. A great point break a little farther north at the mouth of Pennsauken Creek. Beware of sharks, in 2005 a whale made it all the way up to near Trenton so a shark could just as easily make it. Beware of lightning as well, and the lottery.
