There's parking on all the streets near and a parking lot on Huntingdon Ave. at the library right next to the beach. Surf between the lifeguard stand and the rocks.
The waves are the best in august, september, october, and november during hurricane season. Later in the season and in the winter wear your survival kit. The beach can hold up to 10-12 ft. in the fall and winter. In the spring and early summer, the waves are usually waist high with occassional head high and overhead days. Wear your springsuit or your full 3,2.
The spot has great waves sometimes and the beach is a big hangout spot. Mostly be aware of the locals
