Drive down Ventnor Avenue towards Longport. When you see the 36th street sign turn towards the beach. If you pass Ozzie's you have gone too far. It is the first beach in Longport right next to Margate.
Try to get there early in the morning at about 7 or 8. That is when the waves are the most clean and glassy, it's also before the crowds and lifeguards get there, watch out for waves and currents that can push you into the jetty.
