Where the north atlantic meets teh gulf almost or something like that. Is very powerful wedging wave. It can serve fast, hollow lefts that break for a long time. It can work on direct offshores or light winds. Its best with light winds because teh spot is well exposed. Only go out after scouting it out and if your a really good surfer. Sw or w hard winds threaten to literally low you off montauk point along with the wrong tide. Use caution. It breaks into rocks too. When huge swells break way out looking almost like a smaller version of mavs. Ive never seen anyone ride it like that. Has a lot of juice and board breaking power.

Not ridden to often but can be good in the winter as seen in north of nowhere. Crowds are light.

For expierienced surfers who want a fast and hollow wave. Use much caution. Great wedging lefts. Can be much bigger than all other spots on some days due to wedging.
