Go to that strip of private beaches the farthest one (ABC) before town of hempstead beaches-walk two down from ABC and ur there. Also, boogie 1 beach in between ABC and 2 can be sweet sometimes. Parking kinda tough cuz the nearest parking is private beach.
Definitely watch out for the locals- kinda nuts if u get in their way. Always go during hurricanes cuz it is epic. But dont bank too much on down times, mayb ull get a 2-3 occ. 4 during the off season. Nice break all the time tho cuz of the bottom and the way the jetties are set. Good luck

Uhh its mostly a party beach alot off BBQs stuff like that-close enough to lincoln, i personally like it. Again good break regardless of the size. Main thing hurricanes=epic down time= bring out the longboards.

One of my favorites ive done lido, lido west, rockaway, tobay, and this is competes with them on a good day.
