WARNING!
I have searched up and down his stretch of coastline and not found this break. The photos are fakes, taken from Sandies back reef on Australias banana coast. As for the locals, the stories about their violent nature is greatly exaggerated. I pulled up in the car park on Ke Nui Rd and the local boys kindly informed me that this break does not exist and directed me back to Honolulu for some real waves. But when i got to honolulu this local gang called the Wilson Crips told me that aussies are'nt allowed and if i tried to surf there they would amputate my balls.

I laugh at 20' pipe hardly enough power to properly shred topanga beach ca.is way more powerful the hawaiians are just so iced up they just think their surfing something special the locals should all go take some long vacations at gitmo and de-tox!!!

To: 'it's getting boring' dude you had me laughing my ass off with your post. I almost never say 'LOL' because it's only true like .05% or the time, but I was on the f**king floor when I read your post. On a side note, thanks for that tip about Seaside Point in Seaside, Oregon, we surfed it for a week and a half last fall and it was everything they say it is and more!!! Place is like a cold water Indo....wouldn't want to live there in the winter, but it made for a nice change of pace from the N shore (surfing epic double overhead barrels with only 10-15 guys out was nice.) To all the people who say its not that great dont bother going there etc etc etc.

you obviously don't surf or you have never surfed, bodyboarde, bodysurfed here.

this is the wave of waves only surpassed by Teahupoo.
Even though this isnt as heavy as teahupoo its still a monster wave with some huge force behind it.
its like a women its beautiful and attractive but when it opens up it becomes a bitch and can mess you up big time.

i broke 3 ribs and fractured and arm on this beast. its with out a doubt the top 5 waves ive ridden and places number 3 on my list. only teahupoo and cyclops are a head of this, (yes i bodyboarded all 3, not a great surfer but riding a wave is riding a wave and having fun.)

the tube on here is so beautiful yet also is so powerfull it sucked my fins off my feet as i wwas slammed.

any one who rides this wave surfer, boadyboarder, bodysurfers especially have some huge balls and have ridden one of the best waves around.

dont bother
dont bother with pipeline too many people too much agro. just those two reasons alone are enough to keep you away. everyone would be familiar of the absolute vibe-kill aggro in the water creates for everyone in the lineup. hawaii may have been the home of surfing a long time ago but the shine has long worn off. great wave to watch but not worth the plane fare to add yourself to an overpacked line up. australia has bigger waves down south albeit colder water and huge sharks that dont mind biting people off at the torso if given the chance but these waves have just as much consequence if not more than pipeline. theres always going to be localism but pipe is ridiculous. the locals do rule the break though because they surf it everyday same as any local spot anywhere else in the world. maybe they wouldn't be so aggro if the surf mags didnt promote the wave so much. lots of places have "Their day of days" so check out somewhere besides the cliche' spots like pipeline hawaii/superbank australia/uluwatu indo.

...because we're stronger, tougher, smarter, and better looking than you. We come to your impoverished little shithole island for two weeks a year and take over your beaches, kick sand in your faces, and bang all of your women. Then we load up on puka shell necklaces, take a shit in the dresser drawer of our hotel room, and return to our totally kickass, upper middle class lifestyles on the mainland. Sorry, I know the truth hurts, but someone had to lay it out.
