very difficult as it is on an existing marine base. access is limited to those who live there or can be sponsored on somehow. the days of sneaking on are over. sneak attack by boat, until the MP's nab you. |

| | sandbar/reef combo. there are areas that break more consistently. several peaks. pyramid rock further down beach to left. watch out for MP's on beach who ask for identification and will otherwise make your life hell.

General |
a winter oasis from the craziness of the country up north. catches the same swells but has an eastside attitude. slower, somewhat lazier. the waves can be epic often though. some of the longest barrels i've seen rivaling any wave up in the country. |

Advisory Level

Washing machine!
Trades were kicking at about 20-25+ staight out of the NE. Went to pyramid to work on transitioning to a shortboard.... what a bad day to work on that. Went out with a couple of riders from Freedom Riding HI to gain range in my abilities.
