beautiful sunsets, great for tossing the frisby on the lawn in the evenings and or bbq'n. great view to just watch surfers from the break wall. The first, Magic Island is a peninsula shooting off from Ala Moana Park. The beach is protected by a man-made breakwater that cuts off the action of the surf while allowing enough water circulation to keep the salt water fresh and clean. It's perfect for young families or people who are frightened by even the mild surf action of most south-shore beaches. Magic Island has its own parking area and there's a stretch of shaded, grassy areas on the way out to the point that make it perfect for picnics.
General
i think its super fun....it might already be named and i'm sure it is but i did not see it on your list. if you know what the real name of the spot is list that and use the pics...i would say from your list its inbetween....ala moana and bomboras...could be either of those but i can't tell from the map. all i know is its right off the break wall at magic island
great jumping in off the rocks
have watched many slip and fall, bounce around and come out with bloody scrapes...getting in and getting out was alwasy a matter of timing...never paddeled out from the lagoon. had some great mornings and early evenings at the place in the late 70's
