Haleiwa, Hawaii
Great place to surf for beginners, especially at the river mouth!

many take offs
Good place for learners when the surf isn't too big. The main break is farther out but closer to the beach the waves rebuild and create random take offs that are good for getting the hang of surfing

Never know
If your into paddling your a$$ off, or are into sneaker sets that come from left field that clean' out the lineup and holds you down till you think surfing might not be such a good past time, then this is the place for you. Seen the first Wyland when the prelims was held in surf that was marching in from Avalanche and seen the pro's sh#t bricks. Was loads of laughs if you did not have to paddle out!!! Can be fun or life and death. Classic play you pay spot.
