u guys crak me up..
All you guys saying crap about sharks are halarious... sure there are sharks, they are everywhere on Maui. Ever since Clay exposed this spot in Tommorrow Today you guys don't have to worry about sharks as much as more people coming to crowd the lineup. Hopefully you are to scared to paddle back out if you did see one, one less guy to crowd it up.

different guy then the one who wrote the other msgs.
Hammerheads for real here...maybe not 15ft...but yes they're there. Not saying this to scare anyone, but if an attack happens, at least a warning has been given.

for real?
Chased out of the water by a pack of 15 foot hammerheads??? c'mon dude we're not stupid, also the outer left out around the corner of the bay is one of the best and heaviest waves in Hawaii, like pipe/teahupoo with a huge cliff, boulders, and one makeable wave for every four. I'm not that worried about revealing this because if you go out there on a good day with all the hookipa boys on it you will NEVER catch a wave anyway. It is quadruple black diamond out there and if you can't take a super heavy late drop and pull straight into the barrel with every intention of coming out, don't even bother...
