very hard to find, on south shore, before waimea and after hanapepe. if you youve reached the russian fort, youve gone to far. prk on side of the road next to a guard rail with a lot of stickers on it, look for other cars parked. on south side of road there is a trail below the guard rail,3 minute hike. at end of trail go left across the river and look to the outside for some great waves!

Sharks
I camped out here for a week with my best friend.I did my homework and I knew where the waves were going to break.I’ve got some good hollow tubes, although, the rides are somewhat short.In a week, I saw three sharks, two hammerheads and a tiger, which put a 12 inches bite at my friend’s board. We did not report it, but whoever wants to surf here, I would suggest not doing it because you have 30% chances of encountering a shark.
