Big island is my home, pohoiki is in my blood
I was raised in puna. but never started surfing pohoiki till later in life. wish i would have started earlier. it is so much fun... and the people that surf, especially pohoiki are some of the best peoples in the islands. some day i will be back. but first i have to redeem myself.

beware of da locals
we r da guys they warned u about.show up and show us no respect we will be your worst nightmare.no lifeguards,no cops,we make da rules.no mainland bullshit here.we protect this place for our families and friends.the surf here is good,but that doesnt mean your invited.come n visit but dont forget to go home.we dont need anymore friends.you want sightseeing,you want surf lessons,you want to see other dumb ass visitors, go to waikiki.welcome to pohoiki.
