go on high way 19 out of hilo. drive just a little until you see a cemetery on your left. then take the road on the right. right after the cemetery. go to the end of the road then take a left. of you see lots of cars then you know you found it.
he primo surfing and boogie boarding spot on this side of the island. The surfing breaks provide some of the most consistently rideable waves. Not recommended for recreational swimming.here are several spots out at Honoli`i: the point, which is a left, Mids, a right, and more spots around. It's good for longboarding.
my home break
I surf here just about everyday, and it is a sick place, especially when it gets big, it walls up and there are plenty of fat tubes to ride, choke locals, so just stay outta da way and you'll be fine, privates is probably the most consistent of the 3 breaks, i think the point is too short of a wave, fun when its big though, best part is when ever the trade winds blow which is pretty often we get a wind swell that always brings waves! I read that this is the most consistent break in all the islands

good spot
I learned to surf here when i was living in hilo. Pretty consistant and somedays it can break pretty big. Chill spot. Lots of beginners and familys playing in the river. Lots of body boarders to. Way rocky though so i would suggest getting some kin of reef shoe or you gotta just man up and walk out der. Also sunrise rock is dangerous to, its at the end of the break and i've seen many people get wrecked into it. It barely sticks out of the water so watch out. Aloha bros
