Fun stuff I went out on a small 3ft day, it was fun, the sandbars produce some good rights and lefts. I heard it holds big swell, i will check that out next hurricane swell when i am on the way to SPI's Dolphin Cove

Gay Surfing Alliance My name is Don Murphy, I am a local here in Port Aransas now. I moved here several years ago from Surfside. I am the President of a new Surfing Alliance for Gay and Lesbian surfers. We are an overlooked group and we feel that we should be recognized. We organize several surf trips a year to mainland Mexico, and are looking for new members to join our group and participate in our adventures. If you are gay and would like to join us please give me a call at 361-749-5398.

It stays about 1-3 feet on average, but theres always a good day out of the week where it's about 4 or 5. Go to Horace Caldwell pier and paddle out to the end of it.Ditch your wetsuit. (Ivan was sweet)

Gold Mouth Hey, what up Moss, Texas gets decent now and then, occasional lows here and there. I surfed it for ten years and I live in Hawaii now. Can't really compare it to the surf here. But I learned how to rip in the Lone Star State. Now I am up in the Mecca rippin with the best of them. My favorite spot is Fish Pass, got some dumpy waves there, and some other spots down the cost up a little ways behind the Mayan Princess. Right now the north shore is getting about 3-5 Hawaii'n. Shootz brah, time we go surf. Lates...

to RH RH...I wouldnt really wast my time with bringing a surf board to Texas. I lived in Portland for 2 years and I am now back in San Diego Ca. Anyways, yes I have seen Port A get "big" but only with a hurricane close by, so I strongly doubt you will see it "going off". Here's what i think about Texas surfers though, before i start though i must say yes there are a few people that can rip, but the majority of the kids out there were Abercrombie, something i have never even heard of before i moved out there, and they are all a bunch of rich little faggots that really cant surf for shit. I had 3 kids from my hig School (GP) take me out surfing at port A and after all their talk how how much they kick ass not once did I see any of them even stand up on a wave, But wait thats just Portland..haha, yeah I am glad I moved back to cali..but still I have mad resepct for the guys out there making the best out of what they got, after all its all about having as much fun with the wave you are riding.

Port A in November I'll be visiting Port Aransas at the end of November and thought I'd check out Surf seen. I'm from florida and have been surfing for 22 years. Any tips and what I should expect. What's the best spot and how cold should I expect the water to be?
