There are two ways to acess this spot . You can go from Port Aransas on hwy.361 south about 15 miles and you will see two bridges go across both and there is a beach access. 2nd way:go from Corpus Christi across JFK causeway , then north on hwy.361 before the Packery Channel bridge there will be a beach access.
Beginners welcome
Anyone who says that packery is for experienced locals only are complete fags, this is were everyone goes to learn. this is texas, we dont have problems with crowds. There has never been a punch thrown in the water here, so go play santa cruz local somewere else. Texas is a place for sharing beer and waves.

Attitudes
You know d-sul and anon. your attitudes are very poor and uncharacteristic of a Texan! Perhaps you two should move to New York.
On the other hand, maybe someone should organize a large gathering of noobs to visit Packery more regularly. Out numbered and surrounded by those who seem to upset you the most might do you some good.
Come to think of it, if your that uptight, perhaps surfing isn't for you! It is supposed to be fun, you know. Most of the surfers I have met have been the most genuine, fun-loving, and welcoming people.
Good waves, good friends, and good times...that's what its about!

Stay at the wall
Thanks for getting technical for all of us...If the wall is much better, then stay over there. You are more likely to get a ball sucking from the other fags surfing there anyways.
