night surfing
So, I'm assuming there are lights on pier that make it possible to surf at night. Just out of curiosity, are the lights on everynight and how is the visibility? thanks

Dont believe the hype!
Let the pictures speak for themselves. Meacs does get fun waves. Just leave your attitude on the west coast if you come visit.

Correct Curious
Yes the Mississippi river is the number one cause of brown water at beaches for a good portion of TX. Certain times of the year the current runs the other way and we get nice green water that you can see your feet in. Also the sediment count is really high here too so it all gets stirred up and looks like coffe and cream. PS Meacoms is a cool spot. I'd like to surf it on a good swell.
