yea right

the only time there are any waves at Wiggins Pass is during a hurricanem, when every beach in the target area gets some.

Why does it say that Wiggins gets surf during an east wind? I havnt surfed there yet, but it's a west facing beach. How can you get anything with an east wind. Like right now its been blowin 15 kts from the east and today it was down for skim. I dont get it...enlighten me.

Wiggins: Best Spot South of Captiva
on good winter cold fronts the waves can get shoulder+ and glaaaassssssy as all hell... not to mention longer then most breaks south of venice... the few days before or after a hurricane produce the longest lefts i've seen on the gulf... not to mention they break in the same place, so after each ride just paddle back out to the point... Hurrican Isadore, back in 01 or 02... i can't remember... but the south sand bar was getting over head glassy barrels (rights AND lefts) longer and cleaner then i've ever seen down here, even better then this past barrage from charley bonnie ivan or jeane, and the coolest part is its inbetween two park areas surrounded by mangrove and dead austrailian pines..looks strikingly similar to indo from the beach... if there's any kind swell, its the first place i usually check... f$%ck that other dude, he's got no clue

I surf on the gulf coast and wiggins provides a fun left that gets surfable in just a small swell or storm. Without any swell wiggins holds about a foot. Its also a great skimboarding spot when the surf isn't big enough

Ive surfed wiggins a lot and it always sucks, its so over rated by other local surfers. It hardly never gets clean surf without made chop. And if it were to...It would be packed with a bunch of people who get in the way. Most everyone sucks down here anyways esp the kids they touch a wave breaking and say they got tubed. Esp Mack Waugh and Derek Olson they are the biggest posers ever. Haha the really are.

it sure does look like a wave during or after or before cause that is big for the west coast of florida but ive see it get big at wiggins before tho.
