Ride highway 98 from Pensacola and hang right at Navarre bridge, first beach right in front of the end of bridge. Traveling from Destin is the same but hang left at bridge.
Park close to the bait shop on pier. Best sand bars are right against the pier on either side.
Overview
Atmosphere
Easy going and relaxed. When a hurricane swell comes and is epically clean, surfers still are letting the semi-cooks try and get a wave. The surf rarely gets up that you would brag about it though. Really a great spot to learn.
To the kook who has been surfing this break for 8 years, you need to go and surf somewhere else. I've been surfing this pier for 36 years, and I will cut you off.
