seriously, nobody is a fuckin local at super tubes, so don't fuckin claim it. who gives a shit if it doesn't break every day, that doesn't mean that it's not INSANE when it's on. just because it's not breakin on a nice sunny saturday and there's not a big ol beach for your family to sit on doesn't mean that super tubes ai'nt great.

This place was going off yesterday 6-8 foot and these guys where killing it I was impressed not only with this world class wave but also with the small group of guys surfing the place they did all seem to know each other and I did not see one guy take off on another (the way it should be) so shut your traps you fucken buttholes.

this wave never breaks if looks like its rideable it probably isnt and you will get caught inside and fall on the rocks everytime

does anyone know where the spot "woodys" is. its a long barreling right somewhere in ventura or santa barbara whith a tall clump of rocks on the shore that extend about 10 feet into the water. then the rest of the beach is sandy. there is a bunch of clips of it in the video west coast shootout. and also on lostenterprises.com

A few things wrong with this description: never been any shark sightings or problems here, and, anybody who claims to be a local here is a dufus who lives in the bushes. Also, all you boneheads going on about how often this spot breaks... sorry, but that's a farily recent occurence. It broke a lot up until about 1991, and then a lot after 2002, but those 10 years in between in barely broke at all. So I guess the locals had a whole decade to masturbate in the bushes over this place... kooks! As for Jamie Obrien or Joe Pro whoever, just coz someone is in the mags, their egos get so huge. Same old story.
