Hueneme Access |
| |
Just drive to Port Hueneme and park at the pier. There are roads to access the beach further to the south but these can be tricky and unattended cars are often broken into. Plus you sometimes have to paddle across filthy water to get out to the lineup. |

| | A long stretch of beach break. Often uncrowded with plenty of peaks but localism can be intense, especially around the pier. Often bigger than many places on S swells with more juice due to offshore canyon near Pt. Magoo. Car windows are often busted here...best to come alone and early in the morning. An incredible beach break when on but a lonely and unforgiving spot.

Not a beautiful place by anymeans. Desolate and lonely, often eerie. Factories line much of the beach and pollution can be a problem. Perfect tubes when on. |

Nice Peaks
Surfed south side of pier. there was some really fun peaks coming through, a couple of barrels to be had and definitely some faces to play on.

Surfed south side of the pier.

Home again
Surfed south of Hueneme pier with Todd, Ryan, Josh and Josh. Swell was about 2 to 3 feet. Not too powerful, but some fun ones. Checked Shores this morning, and it was a little bigger today. Too bad I had to work.

Fun Ledges
Surfed down by radar tower with just a few friends from shores. It's a south 190 degrees and most of Oxnard is shadowed. This was the only place with waves in VC. Had some fun bowls, some classic lefts. Very fun!
