crowded but really fun
this wave is a launch ramp - gotten it really good in the fall and winter months with nobody out. But it does get brutally crowded when its on. Always worth checking as it picks up a ton of swell.

Da Wood is for the working class Ventura locals. S.B and Carpo donkeys stay away. Espically the ones who think their pro. Surf your own waters. We don't surf yours so don't surf ours. Emma Wood is a shity wave hands down. But the locals have it wired and make the most of it. So all you visitors don't expect to get waves here, we will paddle circles around you and give you nothing.

Emma Wood is a great 'training-wheel' spot to learn how to surf. In the spring/summer it has a nice left at mushpots (appropriately named) and in the fall/winter it has a nice right in front of the toll booth. Once in a blue moon it produces great waves, but its very rare.

This spot may suck, but it's the best shitty wave around. Maybe your better off scrapping at Tar Pits with all the carpo donkeys. Or maybe go surf Pipe with every middle aged kook around. On good south you know who gets the waves. Bong airs fo' life. You take his stuff, you go poun' 'em.

Stay in Solimar or move back down south. You just hate it because you can't get waves there. Sure there are kooks and it gets crowded. When the waves turn on, that all changes and you know it. You are a donkey.
