Look at the map or just look out to sea from Doran 1 mile away is a rocky island off of bodega head. long lefts peel arround it on big days. like (Indo tubes) from hwy 1 take a left down to porto bodega hang a right and follow that road all the way to bodega head then paddle across the channel and enjoy!

This place does go OFF!!No need for tow with a boil takeoff then wide openfaced to a huge jacking double-barrel shotgun of a left. I hear it's easier than the paddle over in terms of sharky-ness!

Hello Towers!
This spot looks like a perfect local tow-in set-up. Exposed to massive swells, but sheltered from the winds, the bigger the better, a huge left tube, and bigger than Mav's on most Mav days, sans crowd. Flea? Peter Mel? Where are you guys? Why aren't you surfing this spot?
