Not a fast moving wave but can get pretty big, medium speed, fun wave altogether.
Overview
Atmosphere
watch the rocks. this beach is usually pretty mellow, the people, the waves, although they may get big there not that powerful, and watch out for lowtides, 100+ feet will leave six inches of water over a rock bottom.

Rockview
It really only gets fun in the winter when its overhead+. When it swells from the W/NW theres a really nice top to middle wall that wraps in there. Best on a Medium tide. Smaller than overhead, and its a warbly wave that can make you feel like youre surfing like an old man. The wave speeds up, then slows down, then speeds up, its like driving a car in between gears. And yea alot of carps surf there.

Rockview is inconsistent
On some days Rockview is better than Sewers, but most of the times it really is a crappy wave. About once every 3-4 years the sand will pack on the reef just the right ways to make a perfect barrell, but your chances of getting it like that are pretty slim. Usually it's a sloppy, backwashy, mushy sectiony mess. Moving tides wreak havoc with this place. The inside reef is super shallow. If you go left, expect to kick out in 1 foot of water over jaggedy rock. On the good days when it's ledging on the suicide bowl, you can get a punchy right barrel if you take off super deep. You better know your shit though, or you will eat reef when it's like that.
