Lots of local grommets surf the place. They are harmless but talk a good game. The waves is most fun on a medium swell with rising tide. Needs extreme NW or SW for swell to get around Channel Islands. Best on peaky swell. Fun lefts and rights. Bit of a hot dog wave.

you dont surf guy... if you didnt grow up in carp then dont surf here.. im heavy local thatll knock you out if you test me. i spent my life breaking broncos and if you want a piece of me ill break you too. ive perfected my skills at this break. ive surfed with the best. they call me golden boy.
