Driftwoods Access
Drive past Sandpiper golf course then go towards the Bacara hotel, park in the lot before the hotel by the tennis courts. Go down the beach access, and walk past the pier. Driftwoods is at bottom of point, there's lots of driftwood around. If its not a lower tide, take the train tracks above the parking lot and walk, there will be a path down the hill after a break in the fence.

Additional Surfing Infos
Park in the Haskell's parking lot by the Bacara. This place gets really good with a big swell and a lower tide. Can still be pretty fun on smaller days. The take off is usually nice and the wave can get fast especially on the inside.
  Overview
Atmosphere This is a nice isolated place, with not too many people out. If somebody claims their a Goleta local and gives you a hard time, don't worry. They're all bark and no bite. The "local" yokels are hardly ever out there anyway.
General This place can be really good on bigger swells with really long rides. It's a good place to beat the crowds of IV or rincon.

whats nice about driftwoods
whats nice is that we (the locals) all grew up here surfing our local breaks and went to highschool together so we know who we are and we know who you (stus) are. If you come here with a group you are going to have problems.
