Additional Surfing Infos
It's a nudist beach so dont go if u have a problem with that. The wave is heavy and powerful so be careful.
  Overview
Atmosphere Good wave to surf. Noone is ever there so you never have to worry about the lineup. The wave is always bigger than most spots even when there is not much of a swell. During spring u can surf with the gray whales that frequent the area too.
General This spot is good if u dont mind being alone in sharky waters on a heavy powerful wave that can kick your ass.

Fun
This beach the past month has been really fun. It is for sure a spot that you do not surf alone. Deep water, powerful waves, paddle sucks. The inexperienced should not go here wont be able to get out as it is. I got a really good barrel the other day at this spot probably one of my best sharky yes but its their home be aware of shady folks when you park at the top.

gotta go on #s
How many attacks have there been within the San Mateo coastline in recent history? From 1926-2007 there have been 9 attacks, 0 of which have been fatal. The odds of even seeing a shark surfing is rare. I have only seen a whitey on the discovery channel or the one they had at the Monteray Bay aquarium. And yeah, I surf places like gray whale, rockaway, and sharp park alot. All of which are supposedly "sharky places" oh yeah, i forgot montara. anyhoo, its good though, because it keeps the crowds down. Everyone who is afraid of the man in the gray suit can huddle together at linda mush, then talk about their epic rides over a beef and potato burrito at taco bell. Yay! Super!

paddle out a little further, newport boy
so you think the tooth is not present, huh? okay, paddle out about 30 yards further out over the dropoff, and sit there for awhile. you might snag a nice bombing set wave. nevermind the huge fin trailing you, it must be one of those friendly dolphins just like back home in socal.

sure it is.
