Tow-In or Boogie wave. Ride last about 5-6 seconds total before disappaiting into deep water where it eventually reforms into the Cayucos shorebreak along the pier.

Fun to watch, but the paddle usually isn't worth it. If this spot is going off big, so are many more spots nearby that are much more worthy a paddle.
Mouse Rock Sucks
That place sucks... its barely surfable even with a tow-in...its about 6inches deep and the wave is about a 2-3 second ride.. My buddy who fishes out there has seen a white shark out there twice... That reef is good for fishing not good for much else.

come on guys
im pretty sure anyone who says mouse is lame is thinking of the wrong mouse. some of the craziest hellmen in the world (cory lopez, skin dog, peter mel, chad jackson, etc...) charge this wave. and stop hating on azhiaziam. azhiaziam is all local based, mike jones grew up in los osos. seriously, anyone who thinks that towing into that wave is pussy, you go try paddling into it. and send me the tape of it so i can laugh my ass off when you get your ass kicked.
